The hotel was busy because of a large event in the city - the staff suggested having breakfast in the Hyatt Club instead of the regular breakfast room, which was very nice! The swimming pool in the hotel is great - although it is small, it has a adjustable water current, which allows for quite effective excercise.

Lovely breakfast served by hard working staff member. Close to city centre and honestly incredibly value for money. We would certainly return.

Hotel Lion is located in the centre of Sofia, just steps away from the Lavov Most Metro Station and a few minutes' walk from Alexander Nevski Cathedral and the Vitosha shopping boulevard. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. The café was a great place to have breakfast, lunch or coffee. Their menu is varied, and the food is delicious. The location of the hotel is very central, and you can reach all of the monuments and sights on foot. I highly recommend this hotel.
