Clean, professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I was visiting from out of the country as my brother was in the last stages of hospice care. It is walking distance to the Mater with SEVERAL nice restaurants, small grocers and pubs nearby. It is also walking distance, or short Uber? to South Bank. I heartily recommend Boos Kitchen for outstanding Thai. The staff was compassionate and there is breakfast for a price. Another item worthy of note: the bathrooms! Sink was small, however our room (king) had a LARGE walk in shower with handheld. Handicap accessible with a shower chair available, as needed. The water pressure was amazing, and just what was needed after our many emotional days. My partner is almost 6'5", and it was nice the shower was tall enough for him to stand. That is not often the case.

Offering accommodation with free WiFi, a balcony and free parking, Eastwood Apartments are located in Brisbane. Guests enjoy a rooftop entertainment area with a hot tub and an outdoor cinema screen. Easy access with parking. Restaurants in the immediate area. Apartment was clean. Building had good security features. We only stayed one night so didn’t use the rooftop which had some maintenance underway - will be very nice amenity when the work is complete.
