Located in Vienna and only 7.4 km from Vienna City Hall, Herrlicher Ausblick über Wien provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The nicest apartment I've stayed in Vienna in the last 20 years (I go twice a year). For being well outside the city, it is very convenient. Walk 3 minutes down to the local cafes (excellent) and the bus stop - the bus is 5 mins from the U4 station which is 13 minutes direct to Karlsplatz in the center -- also the same direct line to the Schoenbrunn stop. The apartment itself had everything we could possibly need - a parking spot out front, coffee for the whole trip, a lovely bottle of local wine, local juice etc. All appliances (more than we needed) in an ultra modern kitchen -- when was the last time you stayed in an apt with Miele appliances? Christian, the owner, is a lovely man: not old, but old-school Viennese. Grinzing (the area it is in) is beautiful and the local produce/wine is famous for its quality. The pictures in listing are really not adequate -- it is far nicer, and far larger than it appears. A wonderful stay in my favorite city.

Offering a garden and city view, Gem of Midcentury Design is situated in Vienna, 6.3 km from Vienna Volksgarten and 6.5 km from Parliament of Austria. This apartment was indeed a gem in all respects. It is located in Grinzing with a feeling of a quiet village. It has numerous "Heurigen" with local, fresh wine and Austrian food, excellent bakers and grocery stores are within a very short distance. One minute away is the 38 tram and the 38A bus, either of which will take you or connect you to anywhere in Vienna. Grinzing is located on the edge of the Wienerwald where multiple trails offer walks in the woods or the vineyards. The apartment itself is charming and comfortable, in two levels with a living room (with an art library), bathroom and bedrooms upstairs, and kitchen, entry and breakfast room downstairs - with a balcony.

Tram opposite which takes you straight into central Vienna. Trams run frequently. Spar supermarket across the road too which was very convenient
