Family-run for over 100 years, Hotel Ganslhof - Adults only is a 15-minute walk from Salzburg’s Old Town, the main train station, and Mirabell Palace. Parking is available for a surcharge. Nice personal, good location and good accommodation - everything is good for staying there.

Only a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace, the Congress Centre, and the main train station, and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, the modern, non-smoking Das Jedermann Boutiquehotel mit Stadtgarten... we stayed in one of the rooms that have direct access to the garden, the room was more spacious than we expected, very clean, with new furniture. The place was very quiet and we were able to relax and rest properly. Close to a few restaurants, supermarkets, and a 15 min walk to the city center. The bus to the airport was 5 minutes away.

Ideally located in the Schallmoos district of Salzburg, AMADEA - Cityhotel Salzburg is located 1.3 km from Salzburg Central Station, 1.1 km from Mozarteum and 1.4 km from Mozart's Birthplace. The place is nice and clean with comfortable beds. The host provided espresso machine and tasty baked goods in the morning.

Enjoying a quiet yet central location, the Hotel Mercure Salzburg City is the ideal starting point for both business and sightseeing trips in Mozart’s home town. I arrived two hours before check-in time, but was allowed an early check-in; very friendly staff; good food in the restaurant.

Please get it from train station or tourist info center before coming so you can use it on the buses. Rooms good & clean.

Since we traveled during the summer heat wave, we enjoyed the air conditioning in the room very much. The room was spacious and clean. It had wide windows. The amenities were quite complete, such as refrigerator, water cooker, hair dryer, tv, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful, explaining the city's point of interest and how to get there. We could easily reach the city center in around 15 mins by bus (no 21) and the bus stop was only a minute away from the hotel. The hotel was near to the train station, around 15 mins away. The airport was also not too far, around 45 mins away by bus.

The Holiday Inn Salzburg City, an IHG Hotel, is only a 10-minute walk away from the Mirabell Gardens and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. We (a couple) had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn. The hotel's location is convenient as it can be reached easily from the city centre, either by a 10-15 minute walk or by taking a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. It is easy to reach and come back from the city centre. The check-in process was straightforward and the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was immaculate and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning system worked flawlessly, keeping the room warm in spite of the freezing temperature outside. The kettle with cups and tea/coffee bags were a nice addition. The room had a full wall-sized window, offering a nice view of the street and a snow-covered hill. The street was quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping during the night. The room's lighting was tasteful and relaxing, with a dim theme that set a calming atmosphere during the evening and night. However, it might not be suitable for formal online meetings. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable, allowing for uninterrupted video streaming throughout the room. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean, with a full-sized bathtub, good quality shampoo, soap, and towels that were replaced daily. The hotel's interior was very attractive and welcoming, and we enjoyed spending time in the reading area, which had comfortable chairs and a few books. The breakfast was excellent, with many options available for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Although the menu remained the same for four days, there were so many options that we couldn't try them all. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for a few days of your stay.
