The eco-friendly, family-run Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100 % BIO enjoys a quiet location in the Maxglan district, a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. The room was quite big, warm and clean. The hotel has traditional elements, such as elegant furniture and local architecture of the building. The staff was quick and informative. The city center is within walking distance (25'), which makes the location convenient for exploring the city on foot.

The 3-star Hotel Astoria is just a 15-minute walk from the historic centre of Salzburg with the Festival Hall and Mozart's birthplace. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful, the hotel is clean, the location is quiet. Very good value for the money.
