Modern architecture, individual design and a central location are the characteristics of the Das Edlinger in the city of Salzburg. The room was small but functional and cozy. I loved the mattress, it wasn't too soft or too hard, very comfortable. The cleaning lady comes every day and brings clean towels. The receptionists and all staff members in general were friendly and welcoming. I was offered a map of the places to visit and advised on how to get to all of them in the best way. I took a walk to the center of the city on my first day and the route to the historical part is gorgeous and takes only 40 minutes.

The eco-friendly, family-run Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100 % BIO enjoys a quiet location in the Maxglan district, a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. The hotel sent a very detailed and helpful email prior to arrival with tips on transportation and other useful info. The room was nice and parking was free and convenient. We purchased bus tickets from the desk and went to the Salzburg Christmas Market and Mozart's birth home. We really loved how beautiful the city was. I highly recommend the Salzburg salt mine tour (a short drive away) and Ristorante Roma Italian (just down the street). The staff was very pleasant.

Built by the famous architect Jakob Ceconi, Villa Ceconi is just a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. It offers free WiFi in public areas, and private parking is available on site. Very quiet but close to the center. I liked that that we could easily park in front of the house. the breakfast is in another building but we did not mind the short walk. The breakfast had a variety of options. If I visit Salzburg again, I will stay here for sure.

The 3-star Hotel Astoria is just a 15-minute walk from the historic centre of Salzburg with the Festival Hall and Mozart's birthplace. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful, the hotel is clean, the location is quiet. Very good value for the money.

The property boasts a full kitchen for those who choose to stay longer and wish to prepare their meals themselves. The beds were so comfortable, honestly the best sleep I have had in some time. The location is great within walking distance to all of Salzburg‘s major Tourist attractions, minutes away from supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
