Our small family run hotel is located about 5km south of the old town of Salzburg, in a quiet and scenic location. Well, everything. Starting from the great location, which is easily reached by bus from Salzburg centre, yet borders open fields and the nearby and spectacular Untersberg mountain. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort in this hotel is extraordinary. I've stayed in many 'high end' hotels through work travel, but none has matched the feeling we had staying at Bloberger Hof. Very convenient for bus transport into Salzburg and out to Untersberg cable car, then to Hellbronn Palace. And, of course, the family themselves... excellent hosts. Each interaction was warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for a very lovely time in Salzburg, and I really hope we can manage a return trip in the future! Ian & Amy

Great location if you're happy to be out of the centre of town, easy to get to by bus. The food was so good we were there every night for dinner. We'll definitely stay there again.

A very nice apartment with all the facilities, kitchen is fully functional. You have a very nice balcony to sit oustide and enjoy Salzburg weather as it is very nice specially you have view of mountains. In addition, the bedroom has an attic window which gives very good view of sky in the night. There is a nice bunk-bed bedroom for kids which my kid liked a lot. There were also some toys as well for Kids to play. The host is excellent with no interfrence. The host met us at location when we arrived and helped check-in and explained everything. The bus stop is just in front of the apartment - Bus no. 21 runs every 15 minutes for Salzburg center. There are three bus stops (i.e. Hanusch Platz, Makratplatz, Mirabell Platz) on route of Bus no. 21 which covers mostly all tourist attractions in Salzburg. These three bus stops are 18-22 minutes ride from the apartment. For Salzburg Train station, you change at any of these three bus stops and can catch any bus (out of bus no. 1/3/5/6) which will drop you at train station in 7 mins as it is only 3-4 stops away. The nearest grocery store i.e. Billa is at 8 minutes bus ride. You take the same bus no. 21.

That is Ballwein. Why? Because this pleasant, kind, warm and welcoming couple has managed to pull off something exceptional despite no other staff than themselves. From our arrival to the unavoidable departure everything was amazing. The place is located just 2,5 km from Salzburg centre, which you easiest reach by bus. The apartment looked brand new. The breakfast had a presentation and taste that was second to none. So, Daniela and Simon, Congratulations!
