Bärenwirth byggdes runt år 1500 och ligger i Patsch, 9 km från Innsbrucks centrum vid sidan av Brenner-autobahn samt 2 km från skidområdet Patscherkofel. Really friendly and welcoming staff, good food (I ate every night in the restaurant and the vegetarian options were excellent) and a fantastic breakfast with an excellent range of options. As always in Austria the room size is generous. A bus stop is just outside the hotel to take you down to Innsbruck (covered by the guest card) or further up the valley. A good range of lower level ski touring is nearby (especially up from Mühltal)

Hotel Restaurant Grünwalderhof ligger vid bergskedjan Patscherkofels fot i Tyrolen, 5 km från Innsbruck och 1,5 km från lnbanan. Gratis WiFi finns. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. The manager Hansjörg was so kind and genuinely interested in us. He took some lovely pictures of us when we met up on a walk. The setting is spectacular and the restaurant was so lovely we ate all our meals there. There was a bus stop right outside & with the welcome card we could get around easily. Very happy with our stay would highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

Kitchen had all items needed. Wish we had a longer stay. 15 min drive to Innsbruck. Grocery store is 5 min walking distance. Fast wifi. Parking right in front.

Easy car parking and bus into town every 30 mins weekdays and hourly at weekend. Welcome card (available from host if staying 2+ nights) allowed free transport to and around Innsbruck, terminus at main train station. Buses to Ambras Castle from same terminus. Weather poor for September (4 degrees instead of 20!) but apartment cosy with extra heaters if required,
