Originally built around 1500, Bärenwirth in Patsch can be found 9 km from the centre of Innsbruck off the Brenner Highway and 2 km from the Patscherkofel Ski Area. A small family run hotel, cozy and picturesque. The view from our balconies (second floor roms) was AMAZING!!! All family members running the hotel were super friendly and always with a smile. We loved our stay here. Thank you for a wonderful hiking vacation.

Staff is very nice and friendly. The location is heavenly. It is a famous house turned into a hotel. Worth a visit. Definitely go for a detour outside the hotel premises. Food is quite nice.

Pretty late check-in was not an issue at all. We're met by host, she showed and explain everything. Here speaks English. Very convenient private free parking and a big area to walk around with a dog. And for sure 1-million dollars view :)

Everything was fine, comfortable and clean, fully equipped kitchen. Shop and bakery is near the accommodation. The host is kind and helpful. Stubai gletscher (skiing) is 40min by car with a bridge toll. We were completely satisfied with everything!

Absolutely amazing place and hosts, extremely happy and certainly will come again when nearby. Having chickens running around is fun ;)

Beautiful setting, Tyrolean style house, well equipped. Excellent views from balcony over valley since apartment 2 floors up (but host helpful with luggage). Easy car parking and bus into town every 30 mins weekdays and hourly at weekend. Welcome card (available from host if staying 2+ nights) allowed free transport to and around Innsbruck, terminus at main train station. Buses to Ambras Castle from same terminus. Weather poor for September (4 degrees instead of 20!) but apartment cosy with extra heaters if required,
