When the renovation of all floors is complete, this has the potential to become the best hotel in Erbil at that price range. Conveniently located about halfway between the airport and the old city, close to a big mall and to a couple of good restaurants, also relatively close to Ankawa. I gave it a top mark because of the staff: everyone I met was extremely polite and helpful, but the guys at the reception, both Syrians, were top-notch ideed. The one I encountered most often during my stay - I am truly sorry I forgot his name - was not only extremely professional, helpful, kind and welcoming, but also a very enjoyable conversation partner.
