We stayed in the Old Mill House, and it was lovely. We had our own large kitchen, with doors spilling out onto a private terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. We enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine as we watched the sunset - spectacular! I highly recommend staying here. It was the highlight of our trip!

It was an absolute delight to stay at Mooiplaas, even for one night. We were warmly greeted by Janine who took the time for a nice chat. The estate is beautiful, the wine is delicious and we felt like we were traveling back in time, staying in the very large room with old-timey furniture, a high ceiling and all in all just a lovely charm. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday here, and the host, JP and the team, went above and beyond to make it special. The location is perfect, with everything from restaurants and grocery stores to the Franschhoek Wine Tram just a stone’s throw away. Highly recommend and will definitely return whenever I visit Franschhoek again!
