The house itself was very cozy, and had a pleasant atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and warm. Homey decor around the house, with everything there being new. Additionally, the furniture gives the chance to warm the house by wood, which is an experience by itself. Nevertheless, the heating system in the house works great, so using the furnace is not even necessary. Outside the house is beautiful nature, which undisturbed by any noise. Overall, I was very happy to have found this place, and in the future would definitely be interested in coming back

Situated in Begunje pri Cerknici and only 33 km from Predjama Castle, Notranjska hiša - traditional country house, close to the world attraction Cerknica lake features accommodation with garden views,... Beautifully restored, warm and comfortable rooms with an exceptional welcome from our host, Nataša. We took sole occupancy of the house but also had the amazing breakfast provided. A fire was set for us each day in the house and stove (in addition to the central heating) - we made pizza in the oven - and sledges provided when it snowed.Nataša also shared experiences of Slovenian culture including sausage making. We'd love to come back.

The place is a farm, the kids enjoyed the playground and animals. The restaurant serves meals based on the farm products, including milk, meat, and eggs. Dinner was exceptional, including homemade ice cream.
