The property is non-smoking and is situated 8.2 km from Snežnik Castle. The house itself was very cozy, and had a pleasant atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and warm. Homey decor around the house, with everything there being new. Additionally, the furniture gives the chance to warm the house by wood, which is an experience by itself. Nevertheless, the heating system in the house works great, so using the furnace is not even necessary. Outside the house is beautiful nature, which undisturbed by any noise. Overall, I was very happy to have found this place, and in the future would definitely be interested in coming back

The area is popular for walking tours, and free use of bicycles is available at the holiday home. If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and hiking are possible in the surroundings and Notranjska hiša - traditional country house, close to the world attraction Cerknica lake can arrange a car rental service. Beautifully restored, warm and comfortable rooms with an exceptional welcome from our host, Nataša. We took sole occupancy of the house but also had the amazing breakfast provided. A fire was set for us each day in the house and stove (in addition to the central heating) - we made pizza in the oven - and sledges provided when it snowed.Nataša also shared experiences of Slovenian culture including sausage making. We'd love to come back.
Ratečevo Brdo
The units at the country house feature private entrance and soundproofing so guests can enjoy a peaceful stay. With a private bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and bathrobes, units at the country house also have free WiFi, while selected rooms also offer a terrace. At the country house, units are equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Great hospitality. The hosts were very welcoming, and everything was made with a smile. The place is a farm, the kids enjoyed the playground and animals. The restaurant serves meals based on the farm products, including milk, meat, and eggs. Dinner was exceptional, including homemade ice cream.
We stayed at the tourist farm strl for one week with family (couple with child). The farm is a quite and peaceful place in the slovenian countryside. Very relaxing. Also nice paths for hiking around ! Breakfast is various and delicious including pancakes, eggs,yoghurt... The owners were always available for any request. You can also have dinner, very good cooking with local products. We received also some ideas to travel around in the region. In one word: perfect!
Gorgeous location. Very very peaceful and quiet. Cabins are secluded in a beautiful woodland. The pool is excellent with sufficient sunbeds for all. The restaurant is alongside the entrance to a great cave which is unusual and rather special and staff for lovely and very helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the porch area is a lovely place to sit in the evening. Restaurant staff are fantastic. The food is very good.
The apartment was very luxurious. The kitchen was compleet and the shower was enormous. The infrared sauna was super! Marjan and Tamara are great hosts. Every day you get a freshly baked croissant and fruits. They give you great tips on what to do. The apartment is in nature, loved it very much. So quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Quiet and modern, free parking at the door, in a pretty little hamlet in the countryside but just 1km of the highway. Handy to Postojna Castle and caves. Friendly hosts, good breakfast with lots of items grown or made by the hosts. Superb dinner! Cute goats.
Everything..what a find! So luxurious and well done. Most welcoming. Super comfy bed. Huge tv. Quiet room. Best breakfast buffet ever and so cheap. Best find on this trip .
A very charming place to stay with excellent food, everything is homemade and a lot homegrown as well. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, a bit remote, great for an escape into nature. And very helpful staff to advise on hiking and other activities in the surroundings.
