If I could give this place 11 I would! It's out in the country in an old farmhouse. It's full of character. It's just so lovely, and classic, and local, and Swedish. Also, on Fridays the family has a bakery that sells amazing things at 11am in the morning. Don't miss it!!

Housed in a 17th-century manor by Lake Mälaren, Krusenberg Herrgård offers free Wi-Fi, an orchard and rooms with a seating area and cable TV. Wonderful location, amazin sauna by the water. We were very pleased with the breakfast, although the dinner was the highlight. The lounge/bar area is super cozy. It was a beautiful winter weekend, great for hiking, saw many deers, horses, birds, sheep. A bonus: Easy to get to by public transit from Stockholm and Uber is available there. A solid 10/10.

Situated in a park area by Lake Gimodamm, Gimo Herrgård is situated in an 18th century manor. A nice hotel spread out over several buildings. The wifi was good, the rooms clean and the staff excellent. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was great.
