Boasting a garden and views of garden, Kroksta Gård is a country house set in a historic building in Bälinge, 14 km from Gustavianum. A sauna and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. If I could give this place 11 I would! It's out in the country in an old farmhouse. It's full of character. It's just so lovely, and classic, and local, and Swedish. Also, on Fridays the family has a bakery that sells amazing things at 11am in the morning. Don't miss it!!

Housed in a 17th-century manor by Lake Mälaren, Krusenberg Herrgård offers free Wi-Fi, an orchard and rooms with a seating area and cable TV. Wonderful location, amazin sauna by the water. We were very pleased with the breakfast, although the dinner was the highlight. The lounge/bar area is super cozy. It was a beautiful winter weekend, great for hiking, saw many deers, horses, birds, sheep. A bonus: Easy to get to by public transit from Stockholm and Uber is available there. A solid 10/10.
