The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

The view of the valley was absolutely breathtaking, the breakfast was delicious, and the wine tasting we scheduled there was our best in all of Portugal!

Cidalia welcomes you as family, genuine tenderness and so much knowledge to share. The breakfast is amazing, served to you on the terrace by Cidalia’s son, a young and inventive Chef. Two hiking trails depart from the property (8k and 20km for the most brave) and are a great way to discover the region. Last but not least the mattress and pillows are very comfortable! A jewel I wish many of others to find!

Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.

Set in Torre de Moncorvo, 30 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Olhares do Douro offers accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. Perfect place, we had a great time! The location is excellent, a relatively small town, the house has easy access to the river (a place from which you can enter the river and also sit in the grass) the view from the balcony of the room was amazing and there is also a swimming pool with a view of the mountains and the river. The hosts were kind! The room was very clean and comfortable Excellent value for the price
