She helped us with information about the island and organising the car hire, as well as organising the climb up Pico. We were given a warm welcome, a basket of local delicacies and a very tasty pastry baked by Mrs Fatima. An amazing experience. We recommend it to everyone. A good location for a stress-free stay in Santo Amaro, Aldeia das Cagarras is a country house surrounded by views of the mountain. It was a lovely experience, beautiful. We did not use the available kitchen facilities, no reason to. Location good for us.
