A truly remarkable place - the closest point to the western part of the island. Some minutes of walking to the famous lighthouse and the volcano place. Probably the best location to stay and you have the entire house. Super quiet, very clean. All houses, built up from the volcanic stones, are fully equipped with all you may need and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the outlook of the property. The parking is outside the gates.

Fornecendo vista do mar em Feteira, The Plantation Faial fornece acomodações, um jardim, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Wow, this new "Bed and Breakfast" was an extraordinary six night stay because of the people, facility and breakfasts. The owners were very personable, warm, and helpful. Their facility was very clean and tidy. The bed and bedding was luxurious. There were electrical receptacles near the bed for our phones. The shower has both a wand and large rain shower head with lots of hot water. The bathroom mirror was heated. There is a large common area with a refrigerator, a large table, dishes and cutlery for coffee/tea and quick snacks, a microwave and sofas. The veranda with our room was spacious for peaceful morning sun. The windows and doors have screens although there were no mosquitos. The WIFI was strong with a security password. Barbara's breakfasts were always fresh with tremendous variety. We loved the just-squeezed orange juice, eggs, pancakes, homemade spicy hummus and jams, Greek style yogurt, breads, pastry, fruit, cereals, herbal teas and cheese. We asked Andreas, our host many detailed questions about Faial and the Azores. He always took the time to explain the background, history and traditions that make the Azores a nature lover's superb outdoor destination. This personal touch added a lot of meaning to our visit. The location was quiet and only a 10 minute drive to the modern Continente grocery store or restaurants in Horta; and, 12 minutes to the airport.

A really nice place, a big house with a swimming pool and a lot of games to play in the house, like football table or tennis, the price so good. And very close to Horta that is the big city in the island. And very kind the women of the House.
