A truly remarkable place - the closest point to the western part of the island. Some minutes of walking to the famous lighthouse and the volcano place. Probably the best location to stay and you have the entire house. Super quiet, very clean. All houses, built up from the volcanic stones, are fully equipped with all you may need and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the outlook of the property. The parking is outside the gates.

The bed and breakfast will provide guests with air-conditioned units with a wardrobe, a coffee machine, a microwave, a fridge, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a shower. Some units include a balcony and/or a patio with mountain views and an outdoor dining area. At the bed and breakfast, all units include bed linen and towels. Wow, this new "Bed and Breakfast" was an extraordinary six night stay because of the people, facility and breakfasts. The owners were very personable, warm, and helpful. Their facility was very clean and tidy. The bed and bedding was luxurious. There were electrical receptacles near the bed for our phones. The shower has both a wand and large rain shower head with lots of hot water. The bathroom mirror was heated. There is a large common area with a refrigerator, a large table, dishes and cutlery for coffee/tea and quick snacks, a microwave and sofas. The veranda with our room was spacious for peaceful morning sun. The windows and doors have screens although there were no mosquitos. The WIFI was strong with a security password. Barbara's breakfasts were always fresh with tremendous variety. We loved the just-squeezed orange juice, eggs, pancakes, homemade spicy hummus and jams, Greek style yogurt, breads, pastry, fruit, cereals, herbal teas and cheese. We asked Andreas, our host many detailed questions about Faial and the Azores. He always took the time to explain the background, history and traditions that make the Azores a nature lover's superb outdoor destination. This personal touch added a lot of meaning to our visit. The location was quiet and only a 10 minute drive to the modern Continente grocery store or restaurants in Horta; and, 12 minutes to the airport.

Located in Varadouro in the Faial region, Casa do Chafariz (Casas do Capelo) features a patio and garden views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the country house free of charge. Guests can make use of a garden. friendly welcome host, clean holiday home, beautiful view, we enjoyed it.

The country house is fitted with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. For the price, it went beyond our exception. When we come back to Faial and need a place to stay we will inquire about this location and unit.

Located in Abegoaria in the Faial region and Praia dos Ingleses reachable within 1.5 km, Quinta da Abegoaria provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private parking. This property offers access to a pool table and tennis at the tennis court. Praia da Boca da Grota is 1.7 km from the country house and Porto de Pedro Miguel beach is 1.8 km away. A really nice place, a big house with a swimming pool and a lot of games to play in the house, like football table or tennis, the price so good. And very close to Horta that is the big city in the island. And very kind the women of the House.
