I wish I could magically wake up every weekend in Alvis' home in Aglona.. What a wonderful place! We loved absolutely everything about it : the house itself is so comfortable and full of history, the nature that surrounds it and all the lovely areas set up to enjoy it are so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, black banya is an unforgettable experience, the town is quiet but with everything one might need and so many things to explore. This place is heaven for anyone who would like to slow down and enjoy what really matters: peace and quiet, natural beauty and good company. We had the warmest welcome, Alvis was so thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable and never had to worry about anything. I am truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality! I wish we had stayed longer, but I have a feeling it's not the last time we visited this place :)

Or take a sunbath. Very secluded, so you may as well wander around naked ;P. We spent fantastic few days there and loved every moment of it.

Zaķu muiža menyediakan sauna dan tempat parking peribadi percuma, dan terletak dalam 43km dari Aglona Basilica dan 42km dari Aglona Bread Museum. Perfect getaway from the city and super friendly owner, we had the best Valentines day ever! Preiļi town is really close with many interesting things to see and shops. Highly recommend this place!
