He organized a safari for us which was awesome - he prepared a breakfast for us that we took to the national park :) every evening, we cooked together and Prashan showed us around in his garden. All the ingredients we had for dinner come from his garden and he really made an effort to create a cozy atmosphere. We had dinner close to a fire pit and breakfast close to the river. Prashan is committed to support his community and teaches young children to speak English. We learned a lot about Sri Lankan cuisine from him and had eight different curries in two nights! We even cooked Kottu Roti together. The homestay is really close to Udawalawe national park, we would always come back and can recommend Prashan to everyone who wants to have a memorable stay in their journey 🐘🫶🏻
