River paradise safari house provides a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Udawalawe, 5.8 km from Udawalawe National Park. It is a very nice and quiet location, secluded in the greenery, by the water. You can even swim there. And in the evening the night lanterns are super cosy. Prashan is super friendly and helpful. He goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He also cooks very delicious food. Helping in the kitchen and the night hike were a very nice extra. We saw chameleons! We can recommend this place 100%!

Also helped us getting to the tyre service when we found out that one of tyres had a puncture.

We loved the natural grounds, quite wild in a good way. Two lovely pools and it’s so peaceful and quiet. Lots of wildlife to watch. The free fish spa is fun (could benefit from a clean though). We had chosen the most basic tent which was very inexpensive and perfectly adequate. We will definitely be back soon and will stay longer in one of the other accommodation options. The food was wonderful and the staff were fantastic especially Pasindu. It’s amazing value for money and a great place.
Nice room with terrace, very quiet. House.made curry was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Safari with the son of the house was a great pleasure, he noticed every small or big animal, he gave us time for watching and a lot information - and served us a delicous breakfast during our 6 hour morning tour. A peaceful and enjoyable tour! Thanks for this.
Fabulous hosts nothing a problem. My room was very clean, bed super comfortable, spacious bathroom ,tea / coffee making facilities & toaster. Breakfast & dinner (big portions) very tasty. The lodge is peaceful & quiet surrounded by nature. Safari organised by my host with a experienced guide has given me wonderful lasting memores.
This place is such a retreat! The cabins are so luxury with a big bed, perfect aircon and such a cute vibe!! We had such a peaceful sleep here. The pool is gorgeous, a place you can just go to swim and rest. The breakfast is out of this world. So many options and so much food! Even watermelon juice on tap. Felt so lucky at this accommodation. Will be back!
Jungle Paradise is exactly what it's name suggests. It's so peaceful and beautiful and the staff are the friendliest. The location is 15 minutes from the entrance for safari. The food is really tasty and the rooms so quiet. We stayed for one night it was wonderful we could have stayed longer!

The room/ cottage was lovely , the fed was super comfortable and the bathroom was really great with a powerful shower. The location of the cottage was so peaceful and quiet and you could hear any sounds from the road. Dirula went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed particularly a Wi-Fi router to help with some difficult personal issues we were having to deal with. Much appreciated. He also organised a driver to take us to Worlds End Hike. Cannot fault our short stay here.
Views were amazing despite the rain. Clean spacious room with balcony. Food good and staff were nice. Would recommend staying in this quiet out of the way peaceful place
