The owners were very kind and made sure you had everything you need while giving enough privacy. We really liked the location as well, lots to do and see and enough convenient restaurants and stores. The garden was beautiful and you’re literally a couple of meters away from the sea. I can imagine you can take a nice swim there when the sea is calm. Though we visited other beaches where we could rent chairs and parasols.

Bise House se află în Motobu, la 3 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Bise, și oferă WiFi gratuit, o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. Great location. The airport limousine bus stop is directly across the street. Many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Nice porch to sit on in the evenings. The unit was clean and look just like the pictures :-)

We appreciated that the location allowed pets, but it isn’t necessarily safe for pets. The way the driveway is positioned, my dog didn’t realize the back of the driveway was a drop off, and walked off the ledge. Luckily, he was on his leash, and we could pull him back up, but it would’ve been horrifying if he didn’t because we have no idea how far down it goes.

What we like most is quiet and beautiful surroundings. There are many options for tracking, enjoying nature and spectacular views. Also, there are few small but isolated and completely empty beaches with beautiful rocks in the sea. If you got tired of bustling city or crowded resorts, this would be a perfect place to spend a few days. Another advantage is that the night sky is looking spectacular due to the absent of light pollution. The host was very responsive and kindly helped us to arrange our arrival. As for comfort, you will get a small but comfy house with kitchen, large fridge, washing machine, wardrobe, bathroom, and a terrace with beautiful view. There is one single bad and double couch. Also, there is an air conditioner and a small TV (although we did not even try to use the TV). Keep in mind that there is no Wi-Fi, but you can use mobile internet no problem. Personally, I find this place even more comfortable comparing to a hotel, especially for a longer stay. We knew that the place is somewhat remote, so for us it was an advantage. If you rent a car, it would not be a problem at all, overwise we would recommend using a bus with 5-day bus pass (2000 yen). Keep in mind that there are no shops around, so consider buying some food in advance. There are a few restaurants around, but they are quite unreliable during the evening (they may close much earlier, especially if the weather is bad). If you enjoy riding a bicycle and do not mind spending 5-10 thousand yen for a couple days, you can order delivery of high-end, electric, or regular bike right to you house.
