As for comfort, you will get a small but comfy house with kitchen, large fridge, washing machine, wardrobe, bathroom, and a terrace with beautiful view. There is one single bad and double couch. Also, there is an air conditioner and a small TV (although we did not even try to use the TV). Keep in mind that there is no Wi-Fi, but you can use mobile internet no problem. Personally, I find this place even more comfortable comparing to a hotel, especially for a longer stay. We knew that the place is somewhat remote, so for us it was an advantage. If you rent a car, it would not be a problem at all, overwise we would recommend using a bus with 5-day bus pass (2000 yen). Keep in mind that there are no shops around, so consider buying some food in advance. There are a few restaurants around, but they are quite unreliable during the evening (they may close much earlier, especially if the weather is bad). If you enjoy riding a bicycle and do not mind spending 5-10 thousand yen for a couple days, you can order delivery of high-end, electric, or regular bike right to you house.
