The location was excellent—quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to Akureyri. The hotel was clean, and the rooms had been recently renovated. Additionally, I accidentally booked for the wrong date (a day earlier), but the owner was very understanding and accommodating, allowing us to change the reservation to the correct day on the same day we arrived.
Very spacious and comfortable, perfect too chill in the afternoon, kitchen very well equipped, very peaceful and quiet
Imagine staying in an elegant mansion with the attention to detail of a luxury hotel but the comfort and warmth of a home. The property we stayed in the ground floor is truly perfect and meticulously curated in every detail, with carefully selected elements, from the soaps to the linens, and even the objects and paintings. Beautiful stay.
Location is 1km to nearest supermarket, so driving may be better. The quietness and peaceful surroundings. You see sheep’s and horses right in front of your cottage. We felt cold even though we turned up the heater. When I sent a message through the booking site, they were very fast to respond and sent us a heater straight away. So we had a warm and toasty sleep.
Location. Very quiet and close to a small village with a restaurant. When we arrived we saw some small whales close to the harbour.. amazing! The cabin had everything we needed and was already cozy and warm when we arrived. The hottub is a nice bonus after a long day of hiking and driving. Nice oasis close to Akureyri!
Very lovely hosts Peaceful and quiet place The house has a nice atmosphere and is very lovingly furnished
This is one of the best stays we had in Iceland. The location is very quiet and peaceful, the cottages are literally in the woods, surrounded with greenery and birds. Although small kitchen, it's well equipped. The bed is very comfy. The best part is probably the jacuzzi right on the next porch, you even have bathing robes ready. We absolutely loved our stay and I highly recommend it for couples.
Guesthouse located in a small fishing village 20 min off the Ring Road. Very quiet place, perfect to enjoy a peaceful stay. The room and bathroom had a good size and was very clean. Shared kitchen well equiped and well looked after. Several hiking trails in the area. The town has a gas station, supermarket, 2-3 restaurants and the Museum of Prophecies (which I recommend). The communication with the host was excellent.
