Built in 1902, the beautiful Chettinadu Mansion in Kāraikkudi boasts stunning architecture, Italian marble flooring and wooden furnishings. This was the most beautiful hotel & we were so well looked after, all the staff were fantastic & the dinner & breakfast were wonderful, such delicious chettinad food that is the speciality of the house. The old world atmosphere was enchanting & we wished we had stayed longer.

The traditional South Indian meals prepared by her mother-in-law were delicous! We cannot wait to come back.
