Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. A gem of a guesthouse. Fabulous warm welcome, really comfortable room , bed and facilities, and the breakfast was top notch. Thank you!

From the minute we arrived to the point of departure everything was top class, the welcoming drink in the brilliant garden setting, the food, the staff and accommodation. Would highly recommend and will be back for sure...An absolute gem.

Sophie and Philippe are wonderful hosts. I felt very welcome and they made my stay perfect with good advise about possibilities to visit and do around. The continental breakfast was very rich, with fresh juice, different pastry every day, a solid start to explore the surroundings! I appreciated the stylish and comfortable living room, which can be used next to the own room, Philippe even made fire on a cold and rainy day. The garden is a lovely space to be enjoyed. With views towards Glandore Harbour, the Shearwater Country House offers seafront accommodation with free WiFi and free onsite parking. The location, the room, and the view were first class. The host was also very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely.
