Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. A gem of a guesthouse. Fabulous warm welcome, really comfortable room , bed and facilities, and the breakfast was top notch. Thank you!

A big variety of great food, also some products that were totally new for us. A big quantity as well, nobody will leave a house hungry! Also, Sheelagh was very welcoming and when we asked to stay a bit longer in her house than check out time, she agreed and even offered extra coffee. Very nice stay, highly recommended!

The breakfast was excellent and the home was very clean. Check-in was easy enough and we enjoyed our time and conversation with the hosts. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Would highly recommend and will be back for sure...An absolute gem.

Staff were great. When they learned we just got married they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would love to stay again some day.

With views towards Glandore Harbour, the Shearwater Country House offers seafront accommodation with free WiFi and free onsite parking. The location, the room, and the view were first class. The host was also very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely.
