The hosts (and their dog) were very friendly and welcoming. Elizabeth was a delight and so helpful telling us all good places to visit in town plus directions. We were treated to a full Irish breakfast in the morning with homemade bread which was delicious!

Mount Juliet Estate is set in 500 acres of Irish Countryside. The historic estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and dates back to 1757. Fabulous location. Spa and pool facilities were excellent. I couldn’t speak more highly of the staff, they were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Top quality coffee machine in the room.

Set amidst 170 acres of parkland, Lyrath Estate Kilkenny is located on the outskirts of Kilkenny City. The green fields for cycling, the room is excellent, the staff are friendly and the food was amazing!
