The location was wonderful. The host was so good! She had left us sandwich fixings which came in very handy after traveling all night with 2 small children from the States. Our stay was very pleasant!

Situated in Kilkenny and only 15 km from Mount Juliet Golf Club, Kilbawn Country House features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The friendliest host we had in all of our 4 weeks in Ireland. A very kind soul with a wonderful house, friendly husband and very cuddly dog. Rooms were totally clean, modern and had everything you need. Breakfast was made with love and even fed my 2m son! Even if it might be a little bit off your destination, it’s totally worth it. Would always go back! Thank you!

Mount Juliet Estate is set in 500 acres of Irish Countryside. The historic estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and dates back to 1757. This is a 12 out of 10 stay! Absolutely fantastic estate. not only did we feel taken care of, there is so much to see and do at Mount Juliet. It wouldn’t be right to end the review without mentioning David. He is an exceptional part of the staff that made us feel like royalty. All the small gestures added up to great memories. Thank you David for teaching us about the Estate and making sure we enjoyed every inch of our stay! oh, and you must try a Lemondrop if you stop by the bar. We’ll definitely be back!

Kilkenny exceeded our expectations , and Lyrath Estate made it perfect with its service, environment and gave us a superbly memorable holiday.
