The family running the place is just as lovely as the surroundings. They are quite putting and live to chat. The head of the family is the village leader, so there is a lot of knowledge about the region and many contacts for sightseeing or telling up the mountains. The family will cook lovely meals for you. What I also find very important is that this place is Indonesian owned (by the family themselves). It's a bit further away from the western tourist crowd which is also a plus in my book.
