Featuring free WiFi and a hot tub, Hostellerie des châteaux offers pet-friendly accommodation in Pointe des châteaux, 32 km from Le Gosier. Host greeted us warmly with a glass of planter punch. Helped us book restaurants, find good beaches, book tours...did everything he could to make us comfortable. Breakfast was HUGE. More than we could eat. Only time I've gotten a full pot of coffee and wife got a full pot of tea (and hot milk) and we've travelled the world. Natasha managed to both serve us breakfast and clean our rooms at the same time. (So we went back to a perfect bungalow with clean floors and made beds.) Only five bungalows, so always quiet. Wall and an electronic gate so felt super safe. Beautiful pool (very big and clean) with an attached jacuzzi spa. Birds (including humming birds), a friendly cat, a range of cool bugs and lizards--this was close to nature but with every possible convenience (we had coffee in the room, a microwave, refrigerator, and a stove). Absolutely the nicest place we've been in the Caribbean. Would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Guadeloupe.

For which I thank her very much. The location of the house is absolutely great, for beaches, tourism. For relaxation, peace and privacy, great pool. It is about 10 minutes by car for shopping in the market in the town of Saint Francois. You can buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen along the coast, you can also use the Marché La Rotonde market for local vegetables. For tourism, I recommend going to the second island, volcano, waterfalls, cocoa farm, vanilla farm... I recommend leaving early in the morning, there are big traffic jams in the capital. I definitely want to go back to Guadeloupe, there is a lot to see and do there.

This was a very beautiful small cottage like property. Perfect for a couple. Although I was travelling with my friend they accommodated us by giving extra sheets for the sofa bed. There is also a beautiful pool outside that is very useful for relaxing after long, hot days.

It is extremely clean. Even if it is small house, you have everything you need. A lot of beaches near by by car (around 5 to 10 min drive). Walking 15 min. Would go again specially, really worth the money.

Situated 600 yards from sandy Orient Bay Beach, Hotel La Plantation has an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with a sun deck. Free public on-site parking is available. The property is amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful view and the pool area is awesome.
