A really nice place to stay, I was welcomed in a friendly but professional way…. Even thou I arrived just before midnight. Wish I had more days to stay. Also it’s not that far out from Bristol, well worth the 15 minutes drive. Highly recommended this place, if you can book the master bedroom overlooking the fields.

King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in one of the bedchambers and walked through the ancient gardens at Thornbury Castle - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, a Tudor castle near the Cotswolds and Welsh... Great way to experience staying in a castle. The castle was surrounding by a beautiful garden. In addition, there was the possibility of playing croquet on the grounds.

Had a lovely stay, myself and my 2 kids, there was a lovely room with double bed and large living room with a double sofa bed. Kids were delighted with the animals and getting to feed them in the morning. Very helpful hostess. Would have liked to stay longer
