The self-smoked salmon with scrambled eggs for breakfast was wonderful as were our dinner courses that all had a personal and creative touch - the hand-writing of a really great cook. If you're a nice person yourself you won't meet nicer hosts! ;)

O Mansewood Country Guest House, de gerência familiar, tem uma história de 300 anos e está situado no Lago Lomond e no Parque Nacional Trossachs. Everything was so lovely; good breakfast, the windows still had the shutters so was able to make it properly dark in the room for those long Scottish summer days AND the sheets were so fricken soft! Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area.

Leny Estate encontra-se a 16 km de Lago de Menteith e a 35 km de Lago Katrine, e apresenta acomodações em Callander. The cottage was beautiful, with one of the most stunning views I’ve ever seen! The kitchen had al the necessary cooking gear and the host supplied us with a starter pack for the first day. Also in the fridge we found a chilled bottle of good wine! The estate is lovely, with friendly pheasants who visited us at our cottage! There was a lot of space between the cottages and it was quiet on the estate. Ample parking space for your car.
