Altskeith Country House is wonderfully located and offers breathtaking views over the loch & surrounding mountains. The service is personal and my wife and I loved breakfast and dinner. The self-smoked salmon with scrambled eggs for breakfast was wonderful as were our dinner courses that all had a personal and creative touch - the hand-writing of a really great cook. If you're a nice person yourself you won't meet nicer hosts! ;)

The family-run Mansewood Country House has a 300-year history and is situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Everything was so lovely; good breakfast, the windows still had the shutters so was able to make it properly dark in the room for those long Scottish summer days AND the sheets were so fricken soft! Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Leny Estate is situated in Callander, 16 km from Lake of Menteith and 35 km from Loch Katrine. The property features a children's playground and parking on-site. The cottage was beautiful, with one of the most stunning views I’ve ever seen! The kitchen had al the necessary cooking gear and the host supplied us with a starter pack for the first day. Also in the fridge we found a chilled bottle of good wine! The estate is lovely, with friendly pheasants who visited us at our cottage! There was a lot of space between the cottages and it was quiet on the estate. Ample parking space for your car.
