Pwllgwilym B & B, a property with a garden, is set in Builth Wells, 31 km from Brecon Cathedral, 37 km from Clifford Castle, as well as 48 km from Kinnersley Castle. Couldn't fault it, wish we could have stayed longer. Comfortable, clean and the breakfast was the best.

Set in Brecon and only 48 km from Elan Valley, The Pink House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was a great place to stay , excellent bed and one of the best bathrooms I have ever seen . Hannah was a marvellous host and made us very welcome .

A 14th century country house situated on the Welsh border of the Wye Valley, the Rhydspence is a former drovers inn surrounded by the countryside views. Featuring an on-site restaurant and bar. The building is full of character and has a history going back to the 1385. We were made welcome by the owners who ensured we enjoyed our stay. In the evenings there is a great atmosphere in the bar being popular with the locals. As for the food it’s top quality restaurant standard. Without doubt this is the best place to stay in the area we are going to stay again in the summer

Set in 17 acres of beautiful gardens, Llangoed Hall offers luxurious accommodation with free onsite parking and free Wi-Fi. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The location is spectacularly beautiful! The breakfast selections were varied from continental to cooked and there were choices at dinner which were all elegant. My husband enjoyed walking the grounds and the interior was filled with paintings and interesting artifacts. It was a pleasant hotel in the countryside!

Built in 1741, the Peterstone Court Country House Restaurant & Spa Hotel blends traditional charm with modern facilities. Complimentary WiFi and free parking is available at this property. When the place is so exceptional, I only noticed "First World Problems": champagne glasses could have been nicer, soup was a little too hot, bread could have been brought warm.
