Dating from the 1580’s, Hawthorn Farm Guest House is set in a Grade II listed house, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Buxton. It offers country-house style rooms and home-cooked food. The owner made us feel at home and the breakfast was second to none. The bed was huge and very comforable.

Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Everything about this hotel was just perfect. The hotel is positioned amongst stunning Derbyshire countryside and exudes classic English elegance and charm. The gentleman who managed the evening dining in the bar and breakfast room was professional and friendly. Thank you for the exceptional stay....it certainly exceeded all expectations.

Shrigley Hall Hotel, just 15 miles south of Manchester city centre, is an impressive manor house in leafy Cheshire countryside. Staff are so welcoming & friendly. My doggie loved the hotel & especially the grounds…. and the attention she received from the staff!

Overlooking gardens and fields, Hollin House Hotel sits on the outskirts of Bollington village, within a five-minute drive of historic Macclesfield. The surprising beautiful historical building in the beautiful location. The stuff were friendly and helpful.
