Dating from the 1580’s, Hawthorn Farm Guest House is set in a Grade II listed house, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Buxton. It offers country-house style rooms and home-cooked food. Everything…beautiful house, great location, very comfortable room.

Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Set in the beautiful Dovedale Valley, The Izaak Walton is a 17th-century hotel with spectacular views across the Derbyshire countryside, known for its fishing streams, a log fireplace in the front... We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Izaak Walton Hotel in the Peak District. The hotel is in a lovely gracious old building and the reception staff were welcoming. We were assisted to carry our bags up the stairs to our room which we appreciated. Our accommodation was wonderfully spacious with a generous ensuite, and there were good outdoor seating areas for guests. The views from our room of the peaks were most inspiring. Breakfast was excellent and staff again very helpful. An ideal location close to the Dovedale National Park. Thankyou.

Beautiful quiet location with a lovely 10 minute walk down the lane to Buxton and a lovely evening at the Cheshire Cheese. Staff were very helpful and accommodated our late arrival. Cottage was very sweet and just what we were hoping for. Rooms were lovely and comfortable and everything was clean and nicely presented. Very convenient parking in the courtyard outside.

Shrigley Hall Hotel, just 15 miles south of Manchester city centre, is an impressive manor house in leafy Cheshire countryside. Fine big spacious bedroom close to the lift and main staircase. Lovely food, friendly staff. Relaxing bar. We were there for a wedding celebration and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
