يقع Skerrols House على بُعد حوالي 15 دقيقة بالسيارة عن 4 من مصانع تقطير الويسكي في جزيرة آيلي، وعلى بُعد 5 دقائق فقط بالسيارة عن قرية بريدجيند الساحلية، ويوفر إطلالات منقطعة النظير على الريف. Wow. I have never been more pleased with the overall experience of my stay at in inn/hotel. From the moment we arrived, Thomas greeted us so warmly, gave us a tour of the property, and answered all of our questions. The house is wonderful. Nicely appointed and cozy living room, reading room, and gorgeous outdoor area. In the evening, the staff prepared the living room with a variety of self-serve refreshments, ice, and whisky glasses for those who wished to consume their recent purchases from the Islay distilleries. Our room was better than I could've asked for. We got the two twin beds room, it had a spacious and modern bathroom, and even a very cozy sitting area with TV. Beds were comfortable. We had to check-out early the next morning in order to make the 645 ferry back to the mainland, so we were bummed we couldn't take advantage of the provided breakfast. However, Thomas and his team went above and beyond to pack us sandwiches, juices, fruits, and waters for us to take onto the ferry. Islay is just beautiful, and I would love to go back one day. When I do, I will be sure to stay at Skerrols House again! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Islay!
