Ponajprije me je oduševilo to što me je soba čekala spremna iako sam došla mnogo ranije nego što je predviđeno vrijeme registracije. To mi je puno značilo jer sam imala samo jedno popodne za posjetiti sve što sam željela vidjeti u Invernessu. Soba je bila lijepa, krevet udoban i velik a kupaonica moderna i čista. Uvijek mi se sviđaju maleni znakovi pažnje pa sam bila oduševljena da mi je u frižideru ostavljena mala bočica sa svježim mlijekom za kavu/čaj. Okruženje je vrlo mirno, s livadama na kojima pasu konji i krave. Diane me je oduševila količinom raznovrsne hrane za doručak. Iako sam naručila škotski doručak, na stolu me je još dodatno dočekalo svježe voće i razni namazi. John i Diane su jako simpatični i dragi domaćini. John mi je pomogao oko taksija a Diane i ja smo imale divan razgovor o našim kućnim ljubimcima. Sve u svemu, jako ugodan i lijep iako vrlo kratak boravak.

It is located 8.8 km from Newtonmore Golf Club and provides luggage storage space.... Very clean room, good bathroom facilities (even for disabled). Wonderfull location in a forest. Hosts thought about every little thing you might need, you can feel it in every detail. The breakfast is very flexible, there are plenty of options to choose from. Among the options the hosts offer a full Scotish breakfast which was an interesting culinaric experience :) We enjoyed our stay, thank you Lucy and Dan!

Boasting a garden and views of sea, Kiltearn Guest House is a country house set in a historic building in Evanton, 28 km from Inverness Castle. This was the highlight of our Scottish road trip! Kiltearn House was in an idyllic location - peaceful, beautiful surroundings, and a touch of luxury for the weary traveller! Our hosts were most helpful, and supplied everything we needed, including a sumptuous breakfast!

Set 50 km from Inverness Castle, Tigh na Sgiath Country House Hotel offers 4-star accommodation in Grantown on Spey and has a terrace. Charming, spacious and you feel like you are a guest at a private country home. Did not feel hotel like. Lovely grounds to relax and take in the area. Breakfast was more than excellent- lots of choice and made fresh for you. hosts were very accommodating and provided great suggestions for dinner and even booked a table for us at a local restaurant

In the midst of the Highland glens, this grand property sits on the wooded shores of Loch Oich, 7 miles from Loch Ness. Our stay at Glengarry Castle Hotel was an absolute pleasure. The room was large and light and the design of the interior is pretty similar to those gorgeous room scenes like from Downton Abbey:) In Glengarry you really feel the ambience of older times but also you have the amenities of modern days. Breakfast was perfect as well! And the library is a dream. If we are in Scotland again we will definitely book a stay at Glengarry Castle.

Located in a small village, 20 miles from Inverness, the Foyers Bay Country House is set in private grounds and has stunning views over Loch Ness. The hotel is on the East side of Loch Ness. There are not much tourist, so it is quite and you can enjoy the environment very peaceful.

Coul House Hotel is set in the hills above Contin and offers scenic views and an award-winning restaurant. Beautiful inn. Gorgeous setting and building, surrounded by gardens. The staff was excellent.
