Housed in a building dating from 2019, this country house is 8 km from Inverness Museum and Art Gallery and 15 km from Culloden Battlefield. I was so happy I booked here with Diane and John and not right in Inverness. The location was very relaxing, with parking right outside my private entrance. It was in the country, yet very easy to get around the area and into Inverness. The bed was the most comfortable one of my whole trip, and the bathroom was large and bright. I really appreciated the small refrigerator in my room and the kettle to make tea. Diane was an exceptional host and thought of everything I might need. Breakfast was amazing!! I loved visiting with Diane each evening. Freya, their dog, was so well-behaved and friendly, and she made me feel right at home. Also enjoyed visiting with the cat, the horses, and ponies. My thanks to Diane and John for providing a welcome lodging for the first 2 nights of my trip.

The holiday homes have 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, a washing machine, and a minimum of 1 bathroom with a bath. The cottage is fully equipped with lot of dishes, washing machine and dishwasher. The rooms are spacious, there are three toilets in the house, everything is new and clean and we felt very comfortable in the house. And all of this for very reasonable price. We just hope that we will have an opportunity to come again!

It is located 8.8 km from Newtonmore Golf Club and provides luggage storage space. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Very scenic by a fast flowing rocky steam with nice hiking trails. The house and property were immaculate. Our host was so accommodating and pleasant beyond expectations!

Dating back to 1894 this imposing Victorian Country House is set in a beautiful location directly on the foreshore with views over the sea. All the bedrooms are designed in both modern and traditional styles with flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Great hospitality, great accommodation! We also enjoyed a wonderful cheese platter and for my birthday I got some lovely flowers put on the breakfast table!

Did not feel hotel like. Lovely grounds to relax and take in the area. Breakfast was more than excellent- lots of choice and made fresh for you. hosts were very accommodating and provided great suggestions for dinner and even booked a table for us at a local restaurant

Glengarry Castle offers roaring log fires, spectacular views, and beautiful gardens. The staff were amazing- so kind and thoughtful. Dinners were beyond any expectations. Would recommend anyone to come here. Relaxing, welcoming, plus indulgent. Guilty pleasure.

Located in a small village, 20 miles from Inverness, the Foyers Bay Country House is set in private grounds and has stunning views over Loch Ness. There is free parking and Wi-fi available at Foyers Bay Country House. Eileen and Chris were simply fantastic and make sure you stay up for the badger!

Coul House Hotel is set in the hills above Contin and offers scenic views and an award-winning restaurant. Located within 5 miles of Loch Achilty and Loch Ussie, this hotel is only 20 minutes' drive from Inverness. Everything was perfect. Stuart, the owner, welcomed us and he was super nice and friendly. The staff was also very nice and polite. The facilities were clean and super good. The bed was super confortable and the shower was perfect!
