Really great accomodation with really lovely hosts, who provided a great breakfast every morning. Room was in a historical building and was very nice. Was thorougly cleaned every day, was spotless. Really enjoyed our stay.

We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

It’s a beautiful, extremely well-maintained property with excellent hospitality. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Joan is a fabulous host and she works very hard to keep all the guests happy. Dannah Farm Country House is the perfect blend of luxury and homeliness. Our suite came with a private sauna and a massive hot tub, bedroom with four poster bed, dining area and lounge. The attention to detail in each room was amazing. The breakfast is delightful, made with fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to get back soon.

Set in the beautiful Dovedale Valley, The Izaak Walton is a 17th-century hotel with spectacular views across the Derbyshire countryside, known for its fishing streams, a log fireplace in the front... Location and beauty, right in the middle of many walks in the Peak District. Would have stayed longer but a storm arrived the same day I did. Very classy place.

Fern Farm Cottages er staðsett í Buxton, í innan við 2 km fjarlægð frá Buxton-óperuhúsinu og 26 km frá Chatsworth House. Beautiful quiet location with a lovely 10 minute walk down the lane to Buxton and a lovely evening at the Cheshire Cheese. Staff were very helpful and accommodated our late arrival. Cottage was very sweet and just what we were hoping for. Rooms were lovely and comfortable and everything was clean and nicely presented. Very convenient parking in the courtyard outside.
