This stylish family-run country house hotel is surrounded by picturesque Cornish countryside, close to the rugged coast. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, and spectacular views, 30 minutes’ drive from Newquay. The best hotel I have ever stayed in, the staff were so lovely and welcoming which made our stay so much better. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was extremely clean. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff gave us a card and a bottle of Prosecco which just shows just how exceptional their customer service is. They gave us advice on where to visit and the best locations to watch the sunset which was appreciated. Definitely coming back next year :)

Great for large family group. Lots of space for everyone. Nice quiet location. Pool table in garage was a plus.

As an added convenience, the country house offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. Zoe was very nice and went out of her way to accommodate our breakfast request. The bed was very comfortable and the view was so peaceful, also close to Port Isaac which was helpful. I would stay here again!

Set in Port Isaac, near Port Gaverne Beach, The Blacksmith's Shop is a historic country house that has a garden. This country house provides free private parking and private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Newquay Train Station. Everywhere was very clean and fresh and the kitchen was very well equipped. Incorporating the exposed, original stonework in the design of the conversion is very attractive. It was really good to have an off road parking space just outside and access to a lovely garden.

Situated in Washaway, Trehellas is a family-owned country house with real warmth and character, close to all that the county has to offer. A former courthouse, today, the building still retains many of its beautiful original features, including the ground floor’s Delabole slate floors and the external mounting block. clean, large rooms, great breakfast, great value for money!

Trethorne Hotel and Golf Resort is situated 1 minute from the A30 on the junction A395 (North Cornwall Road). We offer a superb selection of superior and standard rooms and great facilities for families on site to help you relax and enjoy your stay. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very nice and friendly. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and found the food to be very good, especially the breakfast. It was also nice not to have to worry about parking. For one night this was a nice place to stay.

In the 13th century, Bowood Park was part of the Black Prince’s deer park. It is still set amid 230 acres of picturesque hills and woodland. Very welcome greeting upon arrival. Nothing was to much trouble. The dining staff were attentive and polite. Breakfast was excellent ☺️

Some of the en suite rooms at Penmorvah Manor have beautiful sea or garden views. An inclusive full English breakfast is provided. Free Wi-Fi is available in bedrooms and public areas. We checked in late. After an initial delay the staff were able to set us a room with twin beds. They were very pleasant and hospitable during the wait. The hotel premises (outdoors) are lovely and indoors have strong wifi signals. Breakfast was delicious. This was a peaceful stay that I had imagined. I wish I stayed longer and explored the Gyllyngvase beach and the surrounding area.
