Incorporating the exposed, original stonework in the design of the conversion is very attractive. It was really good to have an off road parking space just outside and access to a lovely garden.

Lovely, jovial hosts Gill & Martin really made my stay homey and memorable. They were always up for a quick chat and lots of to-do/see recommendations in the area. The B&B is located in a verdant rural location and only a 3 min drive into town. Well located for easy access to many of the trailheads and National Trust properties in the region. The room/bed was superbly comfortable. I truly enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory while chatting with the other guests. Breakfast options were also plentiful, flexible and delicious. Polraen was my favourite stay during my 3 weeks in England.

Situated in Washaway, Trehellas is a family-owned country house with real warmth and character, close to all that the county has to offer. A former courthouse, today, the building still retains many of its beautiful original features, including the ground floor’s Delabole slate floors and the external mounting block. The room was lovely. Very clean and very comfortable

Emma, the rental manager was brilliant and gave helpful recommendations for local tourist locations and restaurants.
