The cottage was beautiful, with one of the most stunning views I’ve ever seen! The kitchen had al the necessary cooking gear and the host supplied us with a starter pack for the first day. Also in the fridge we found a chilled bottle of good wine! The estate is lovely, with friendly pheasants who visited us at our cottage! There was a lot of space between the cottages and it was quiet on the estate. Ample parking space for your car.

Set in secluded 20-acre grounds, the Roman Camp Country House Hotel is set on the banks of River Teith in scenic Callander Village. we were absolutely charmed by this place, wonderful very special hotel, spacious room, very attentive nice staff, roaring fireplaces, good beer, comfy bar and sitting room, excellent informal dinner, best scottish breakfast of our tour, lovely garden and grounds and all very quiet in the November rain, we will come back
