The whole experience but especially Jim the owner who really went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. Even used his own car to take us to the nearest town, would not let us book a taxi.

Located in Portadown and only 45 km from Proleek Dolmen, Little Woodbank provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. A spacious and private self catering wing off the main house but with the added convenience of optional breakfast and dinner prepared by Zara, our hostess, in its’ fabulous kitchen. Little Woodbank in reality is even better than the impressive photos can portray. Arriving to a roaring fire after our journey and again after our days out exploring was a pure joy. The aperitifs and our 3 course meal on the evening of our arrival were superb, and breakfast the following morning was equally delicious. Attention to detail in the décor and furnishings created a grand but welcoming space to relax and unwind before retiring for the night in super comfortable beds. It's a great location to explore from, or to simply unwind with a book, or a stroll along the river - a natural boundary to the property. We will definitely return and enjoy the warm friendly hospitality from Zara, who couldn’t do enough for us, and her family who made our trip away a truly memorable experience.
