Lovely property, newly renovated with lovely touches like artwork and a modern kitchen with all the equipment needed even an air fryer and a bean to cup coffee machine. The outside area is excellent too with the wood burner hot tub in a sheltered area with flowers and lights for you to relax in. Lots of parking space. Located in the countryside in a peaceful area. Lovely lake parking area and walks a short distance away.
Everyone in our party commented on the high standards of cleanliness in our rooms, and the comfort and quiet. We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. I'm vegan and the B&B provided yogurts, croissants, fresh berries and a fantastic cooked breakfast. The building is opposite a small shopping area, which includes a Tesco, and is within 5 minutes' walk of the town centre. There is also a very pretty riverside walk a couple oif minutes away in the opposite direction, where you are suddenly in open countryside.
Whe stayed for 6 days in the room at the front of the house. With lovely view over the garden. Every Morning taking a luxury bath. Verry relaxt and quiet sleeping. Comfortable, warm, quiet, clean and conforms to the description. The host, Jacqueline, is very responsive and helpful. Easy access to the centre of town and to the fabulous countryside around Newry.
Gorgeous house in the peaceful countryside, the room was huge and had 3 beds, I thought I had walked into the house of the 3 bears.
A dream-like mansion for a perfect stay! The house is the countryside manor of your dreams, on a beautiful hilltop with immense rooms all beautifully furbished. The host is fantastic, an old style gentleman. He cooked for us the most elaborate Mediterennean breakfast and he even brought us his own records collection to listen to. Thank you Jim!
