Situated in a scenic wooded garden, Thistle House Guest House overlooks Loch Fyne to Inveraray and its famous castle. The host was so friendly. The house is lovely where we had a luxury room with beautifully wallpaper. The breakfast was delicious. We could only recommend to stay here.

On the banks of Loch Long, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Scotland’s west coast. Lovely and so clean, love the fact it's dog friendly as well.

Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Wow. I have never been more pleased with the overall experience of my stay at in inn/hotel. From the moment we arrived, Thomas greeted us so warmly, gave us a tour of the property, and answered all of our questions. The house is wonderful. Nicely appointed and cozy living room, reading room, and gorgeous outdoor area. In the evening, the staff prepared the living room with a variety of self-serve refreshments, ice, and whisky glasses for those who wished to consume their recent purchases from the Islay distilleries. Our room was better than I could've asked for. We got the two twin beds room, it had a spacious and modern bathroom, and even a very cozy sitting area with TV. Beds were comfortable. We had to check-out early the next morning in order to make the 645 ferry back to the mainland, so we were bummed we couldn't take advantage of the provided breakfast. However, Thomas and his team went above and beyond to pack us sandwiches, juices, fruits, and waters for us to take onto the ferry. Islay is just beautiful, and I would love to go back one day. When I do, I will be sure to stay at Skerrols House again! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Islay!

Dungallan Country House is a adults only bed and breakfast guest house. Wonderful selection of cooked to order breakfast in a beautiful room with a gorgeous view. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The bathrooms are lovingly and gorgeously designed.

It’s cozier and nicer than expected, the pictures don’t show how remarkable this place it I’m really happy I’ve found it by accident. We stayed with my family and my sister and her kids. No one wanted to leave….
