Situated in a scenic wooded garden, Thistle House Guest House overlooks Loch Fyne to Inveraray and its famous castle. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided in this spacious Victorian country house. Sue and Avril were charming hosts and made us feel so welcome. All of the rooms were tastefully decorated. Our bed was very luxurious and we had the best 2 sleeps of our 3 week vacation. The delicious breakfasts were served in the charming dining room. We simply had to buy a piece of the locally made pottery that the preserves were served in. The view of Inverarry was lovely. We would highly recommend Thistle House.

Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Located in the centre of the island, Bowmore Distillery is less than a 10-minute drive away. Exquisite location, big rooms and bathroom. Amazing breakfast (croissants are to die for!), and lots to do at the house (board games, etc.). To top it off, Thomas who was managing the place was ever helpful and great! Highly, highly recommended place!

Originally built as a summer residence by the Duke of Argyll in 1870, Dungallan Country House Bed & Breakfast is situated on the edge of the town of Oban. Excellent rooms, nice building, great breakfast, a hugh selection of single malts, breathtaking view with sunset, what else you are looking for?

The property has sea and mountain views, and is 32 km from Benmore Botanic Garden. The country house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The cottage is beautiful. It is quirky and homely. We had a busy weekend at a family wedding and Fyne Byre Cottage was the perfect base. We were 3 generations of the same family and all found things to love about the cottage. Sam was the perfect host.

Guests at the country house will be able to enjoy activities in and around Arrochar, like fishing, canoeing and hiking. Guests at Gleann Fia House can enjoy table tennis on-site, or go snorkelling or cycling in the surroundings. The house is so spacious, beds comfy, fantastic kitchen and brilliant games room, we are a family of six and the space was ideal. Communication great, well looked after and should be respected. Loved it.

Lots of space, clean and comfortable, hosts were available but not intrusive

All rooms have a luxury bathroom with designer toiletries, a seating area and scenic views. Very beautiful hotel in idyllic surroundings. Comfortable bed and great breakfast. The service was very good and the restaurant was excellent.
