The owner, Remmy is such a kind and welcoming host. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable, even when we arrived quite late. Oh and the breakfast! The breakfast is one of the best breakfast’s I’ve ever experienced… breads fresh from the bakery around the corner, cheese and butter from the local dairy farm, homemade jam from Remmy’s own wife… amazing! The whole experience was simply amazing.

We had no idea that it was part of an estate with a 17th century chateau (presently being restored). The beautiful gardens have been restored and guests are free to visit the grounds. The farmer’s house where we stayed has been beautifully restored with elegantly comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was bountiful and delicious! We were warmly welcomed and we truly enjoyed our stay!
